Revive Israel Ministries
Israel's 60th Anniversary

This week is packed with events that could have significance world wide. We have a sense of the plan of God's kingdom for many ages converging upon us. His time, His place, and His purpose are coming together. We are entering into events that were predestined by God before the foundation of the world.

I Corinthians 10:11 – All these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

It seems like this profound verse is coming to pass before our eyes. Everything in the Bible was written as a pattern of what is happening now. The ends of the ages have come upon us.

Here are a few events this week:

Tikkun International Ministry Team – This week our senior leadership team met (Dan Juster, Eitan Shishkoff, Don Finto, and Asher), praying and planning together. This meeting celebrates the 30th year of continuous ministry, in which now many of our children and disciples are taking their places in leadership positions together with us. Our continued teamwork in loyalty and mutual submission has been a wonderful testimony for the kingdom of God.

Palestinian Apostolic Team – This week our Revive Israel ministry team met with members of the Palestinian apostolic ministry team with whom we partner (names withheld for security reasons). They are born again Arab believers who share the gospel in the West Bank, primarily among Muslims. We believe the cooperation between our two teams is of strategic importance for revival in the Middle East.

Israeli National Bible Quiz – Bat El Levy is a sixteen year old Messianic Believer who is scheduled to enter into the finals of this prestigious Bible contest on Independence Day, this Thursday. Her appearance there has raised opposition from many leading rabbis in Israel, and in return, some interest in the Israeli media. Pray for blessings on Bat El, and that the publicity will be turned to good.

Remembrance Day – This Wednesday is the memorial day for Israelis who died in military conflicts protecting the State of Israel. In the 60 years since the birth of the nation of Israel that number has grown to 22,437 people (including 132 this year). I wonder how many people have died in this same period for having shared the gospel.

Independence Day – This Thursday marks the 60th anniversary of the nation of Israel. The gathering of the Jewish people from exile and the restoration of our nation is a fulfillment of numerous prophecies in the Bible. This week heads of state from many nations will come to visit Israel.

One Thing Youth Conference – much of our ministry team is involved in this national youth revival meeting, organized by Rick Ridings and Nick Syrett. Speakers include Mike Bickle, Lou Engle, and Mike Pilavachi. (Asher will be the one Hebrew speaker on Friday afternoon.)

International Communion Service – a special live broadcast from Jerusalem on God TV is scheduled for Saturday night (Israel time). Rory and Wendy Alec are to lead this event accompanied by several of our ministry team.

The Call – This world wide prophetic prayer and fasting assembly is coordinated with the Global Day of prayer. The central meeting from the Jerusalem Convention center will be broadcast on God TV. The meeting will be lead by Lou Engle, Mike Bickle, Oded Shoshani, and Asher, along with key pastors and prophetic leaders both from Israel and around the world. We believe this to be a historic event in which we will agree in prayer for moral and spiritual repentance, world evangelism and revival, unity in the international and Israeli Body of Messiah, and for the Second Coming of Yeshua.

Please join us in prayer and heart agreement. We need you. A great breakthrough for the Kingdom of God is at hand.
